Frequently Asked Questions....for Murder Mystery events
Q: "How long does the event take?"
A: "Approximately 3 hours. Look at the Murder Mystery page for a suggested breakdown for an event"
Q: “Can everyone hear your questions and answers?"
A: No. Inspector Jager circulates and answers each teams questions individually.
Q: "Do more than one team get to see the clues at the same time?"
A: It depends on the story you choose. Some have crime scenes, some have clues that circulate the tables and others have clue packs or sheets for each team.
Q: "Do I have to dress up?"
A: This is at the discretion of the host, and is usually optional. There is often a prize for best dressed person.
Q: "Do I have to perform?"
A: Only if you want to. Inspector Jager asks for 6 volunteers to act with her. No-one is forced to act. Your main reason for being there is to be Agatha Christie not Dame Judy!
Q: "Can I just have a laugh?!"
A: Yes. You won't be forced to submit a score sheet if you don't want to. Please consider those who do want to take part (and especially when they want to listen to the answers).
Q: "Will it be fun?"
A: We hope so! We don't write daft stories or give our characters silly names, because teams enjoy working out a serious 'whodunnit'. However, teams always find time for a laugh and joke - sometimes at Inspector Jager's expense!
Q: "I always find that I get confused over who is lying and who is telling me the truth."
A: As you only have Inspector Jager to answer your questions, you shouldn't get disparity of information.

Q. "What is a Puzzle Hunt!"
A. They are difficult to explain - but think of the Krypton Factor without the outdoor assault course or the Crystal Maze without the physical challenges! As a team you are working out a series of puzzles that will lead you to a final destination - where 'treasure' is hidden. First team to find it are the winners. If you would like a clearer explanation, get in touch and we will either talk you through an event or visit you to discuss your requirements.
Q. "How long will the event take?"
A. That depends on which puzzle you choose - they range from 1 hour to 3 hours.

Q. "What happens if it rains?"
A. If a venue has been sourced prior to the day as a wet weather alternative, we can always arrange for you to take part in a Puzzle Hunt instead.
Q. "How far will we have to walk?"
A. The treasure trails all vary in length so ask for whichever suits you a short saunter or a longer stretch!
Q. "How long will a treasure trail take?"
A. As they are all different lengths the time varies, the shorter ones about an 1 hour, the longer ones about 3 hours.
